Where are we at?

The adventure started long before the first step in the snow, and it will go on after we get back, while we share what we bring home from the living world. Here’s where we are.

We’re not keeping the preparation to ourselves: the training, the gear, the doubts, the questions people ask us… We share it all week by week, on Instagram, on LinkedIn, and soon on Facebook and TikTok.

Before

From first meeting to departure

    Hugo and Moufid meet

    A filmmaker, a polar explorer, and very quickly the urge to head north together. It all starts there.

  2. Done

    The expedition takes shape

    Hugo and Moufid ask themselves: what do we want to tell? Living the wildest nature in Europe from the inside, and seeing what it can inspire in artists. For that, we need a team.

    Monsif joins

    Moufid’s brother joins the project. A filmmaker, he will be both behind the camera and on skis.

  4. Done

    A sacred mountain as destination

    It will be Nammásj, in the heart of the Sarek. Setting off from Saltoluokta, out and back to the foot of the mountain, finishing in Kvikkjokk.

    Laura joins

    The Lyon-based illustrator joins us. She will draw on the spot, or later, whenever she feels like it.

    Juliette joins

    Juliette, cellist and singer with L.E.J, comes on board too. The Sarek will have its music.

    Launching the crowdfunding and meeting our first partners: financial, in-kind and institutional.
